The tour of Eastern Jeju was beautiful. We visited Ilchun Land, entered the Lava Tube, visited a folk village, climbed the Sunrise Peak, watched the female divers perform their song and dance by the sea and enjoyed tea in an incredibly beautiful cafe by the Hamdeok Beach with a serene view of the sea. The sights were spectacular, the fresh air of refreshing and the experience memorable. But it was made more special by our guide Sam who knows how to tell a story. A huge part of sightseeing is understanding history and history is storytelling about days gone by. Sam, is an excellent narrator. He told us stories in threes. He told us stories about the female divers, the island itself and mixed in some stories from his own life. Sometimes when you travel, all you take home with you are some Instagram photos. But during those truly memories, you take home with you, stories.

If you are short on time but want to experience the best of Jeju, book this tour! With only one day to spare, the 8:30 am to 6:30 pm itinerary was the absolute most efficient way to see part of the island. I am so glad I did it because we covered a massive amount of ground and visited destinations I never could have managed on my own in that timeframe. Our guide, Choi, was lovely, informative, and kept us thoroughly engaged between stops with fascinating tidbits of Korean culture and traditions. He made navigating the major sites completely effortless. Our driver, Kim, was also wonderful and friendly. The tour maximizes every minute of your day without ever feeling rushed. I highly recommend the tour and Choi as your guide! Happy travels!

It was a very good tour to get around the tourist attractions on the east side efficiently! They contacted me via WhatsApp the day before, which gave me peace of mind. He sent me a picture of the bus on the day and I was able to gather without hesitation. It was amazing to see the city, beautiful scenery and Aurora in my own eyes.
