Elin, aka Mama Jeju, was a really nice and joyful tour guide. She speaks very good English, and even if the day was really hot, she will warm your heart with all of her kindness 🥰
We had an unforgettable trip with Elin. She is such an amazing and caring guide. We were lucky to have a small group, just about a dozen people on a minibus (on busier days you can expect to be a part of a larger group on a regular tour bus), so we enjoyed a more intimate experience. Elin really goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is taken care of. Not only was she fun and informative, but she supplied us with complimentary cold drinking water throughout the day, fed us local sweets, offered sun umbrellas to those in need, and we even got to win some tiny Jeju Grandfather statues in a quiz she ran on the bus. After the trip we were surprised with a link to an album of pictures she took of us while we were visiting! As far as group tours on Jeju go, I don’t think you can do better than this. The following day we took a tour with a different company (booked earlier) and while it was perfectly OK, we did miss Elin - who we go to meet again anyway and get hugs from on the road!
We had a blast with the tour and our guide, Elin! From the start and until the end she was absolutely devoted to us having the best possible time, making every stop a fun and enjoyable experience even under the extreme heat of the summer! On addition to that, the tour is well worth the time and the money, allowing you to explore several landmarks of the island that are a must-see without having to rely on public transportation (which may be inconvenient). And again, our greatest gratitude to Elin for all her attention and care! :)
Excellent tour if you have not rented a car for your stay on the island that allows you to explore the island without having to rely on public transportion (which may be inconvenient). The day was very well-organized, making stops in several landmarks and locations that are totally worth the visit. Special mention to our tour guide, Zin, who was absolutely excellent and offered us a lot of insights, information and personal experiences on Jeju and Korean culture. He also lent us (and I’m sure he will be pleased to read this!) his very remarkable skills as a photographer, taking really good pictures even under the extreme heat of the summer!
An excellent experience! Some friends recommended the tour to me. Our guide, Elin, is super attentive and pleasant. She explained the historical context and traditions, so I learned a lot in addition to the beautiful views of Jeju.
Elin is an excellent guide. she is helpful and friendly and provided clear instructions at every stop, together with hand drawn maps. Great sights and highly recommend if you have limited time and will not be driving on your own.
elin was very friendly, kind and informative. She taught us a lot about the different places we went to as well as local things which she did not need to do. She also taught us common phrases to help us while we are in korea. Definitely one of the better tours i’ve been on.
A perfect day tour to end our Jeju trip. We enjoyed it a lot. Elin is a professional tour guide who was always very helpful and explained everything very clearly.
