I am really grateful to Elin and Mr Kim the driver of the bus. It is clearly stated here that they can only wait at the airport for 1 minute. I was fully confident to book this tour as the ETA at Jeju airport is supposed to be 0630. However, our flight has been adjusted and delayed TWICE until the ETA became 0900! I kept on praying for the plane to land right away and at 0900 we have just landed but the pick up is 0900 as well! Elin called and when I told her we just landed and have to go through immigration first, she said sorry we can only wait for a minute max and just told me to go straight to the first stop, the Recreational forest. However she still kept on calling while I was in immigration and she even asked me to hand the phone to a staff I was asking directions to the gate. At 0908, I was SO relieved that someone called my name and there was Elin! 엘린, 정말 고마워요. 당신의 인내심과 친절에 진심으로 감사드립니다.
Our full-day tour of Jeju’s east coast with Yeha Tour was an absolutely fantastic experience, thanks in large part to our wonderful guide, Elin. Her kindness, extensive knowledge, and fantastic photography skills made for a truly memorable day.
From the moment we were picked up, Elin’s warm and welcoming demeanor put everyone at ease. Throughout the tour, she shared fascinating insights into Jeju’s history and culture, bringing each location to life with her stories. She was always happy to answer questions and went out of her way to ensure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. A huge bonus was her talent for taking incredible photos, ensuring we all went home with beautiful keepsakes of our trip.
For me, the standout moments of the tour were the women diver demonstration and the immersive Folk Village. Watching the legendary Haenyeo, with their incredible strength and resilience, was a powerful and humbling experience. It’s a tradition that is so unique to Jeju and a must-see for any visitor.
Wandering through the Folk Village felt like stepping back in time. The preserved thatched-roof houses and ancient stone walls offered a tangible connection to the island’s past. Elin’s explanations of the traditional lifestyle and customs of the Jeju people made the visit all the more meaningful. The lunch at this stop was also delicious!
Overall, this tour was a highlight of my trip. The itinerary was perfectly paced, covering a wonderful variety of sights without feeling rushed. If you’re looking for a comprehensive and enjoyable way to explore the east coast of Jeju, I cannot recommend the Yeha tour enough. And if you’re lucky enough to have Elin as your guide, you’re in for an exceptional day! Five stars all around!
We spent a couple of great days sightseeing on Jeju with Jeha Tours. Our tour guide Elin made it very enjoyable, giving us clear instructions, the right amount of information and making sure that everyone was included. This was my first time in Jeju, with my sister. Very special day for us as we were bringing our mother’s ashes back home. We wanted to book a tour that would show us where our mother grew up. Elin’s warm heart and passion for her work made us feel like we were home as well. It’s one thing to have a tour guide just point out where you are and what you are seeing. Elin, took it a step further and made sure you were “feeling” the experience as well. Kept everyone engaged, smiling, laughing, etc. I can’t thank her enough for making this day so special.
