  • Suweolbong
Jeju Island was born into the world due to volcanic activity that began 180.2010 million years ago. Mt. Halla and its large and small ascents were created by volcanic activity. Recognizing the geological value of Jeju Island, the World Heritage Committee certified the entire island as a Global Geopark in 13. Jeju's Suwolbong Volcanic Crater Layer (Natural Monument No. 513, hereinafter referred to as Suwolbong) is called a textbook for volcanology research. It is a steep ascent that rises on the coast of Gosan-ri, which is the exact opposite of Seongsan Ilchul Peak. It is only 77 meters high, but the view from the top is embarrassingly cool. The sea is so blue that it is soaked in the sea, and the coastal cliffs that stretch out like a folding screen along the way, which is literally a picture.
